The alliance will promote alternatives to animal ingredients and products to meet consumer interest and demand. Combined with the rising demands of conscious consumers, the Plant Based Foods Alliance will help shift public policy towards a better, more sustainable food system.

China Advancing Development of Plant-Based and Cell-Based Meat Industry
China’s first industry standard and regulation symposium on meat alternatives was held by China Plant Based Foods Alliance (CPBFA) in Beijing on 24th September. Exchanges and discussions were made during this event by industrial experts, entrepreneurs, and representatives from scientific research institutions and government regulatory authorities on the topic of plant-based and cell-based meat.
Real Advocacy Power
The CPBFA advocates for plant-based ingredients, food and beverages, closely monitoring and thoughtfully influencing the legislative and regulatory environment. In addition, we facilitate our members’ communications with policy makers allowing them to tell the real story, its positive impact on businesses, economic, environment, people’s lives and innovation. CPBFA acts to capitalize on opportunities and minimize threats to its members. Input from members about key issues that affect them helps the CPBFA focus its advocacy efforts.
